Wellness (Positive Affirmations)
This week read the book, "I Think, I Am!" We learned about affirmations and speaking kindly to ourselves. Students wrote stories about character rabbits and positive affirmations would change perspectives.

Little Bee Bunny
Little Bee Bunny went to play with his friends. But when they played tag Little Bee was it and when he tried to get them they jumped away really fast. Little Bee was not fast and then he tried again but they jumped way faster than him. So he went away so sad. Then Little Bee's Mom went up to him and said, "What's wrong Little Bee?" Little Bee said, "I can't jump that high and tag my friends." "That's okay all you gotta do is say to yourself "I can do this!" So Little Bee tried that and it worked. He was a good jumper after all. The end.
Postcards for Paddington
Students in Grade 3 did a phenomenal job presenting to our school about the needs of children. We learned more about "Postcards for Paddington" and how we can help other children around the world and raise money for UNICEF. Thank you to our fabulous friends in Grade 3 who organized this donation initiative.
