Wow! What a fun week in Grade 2.

Important Dates

June 3rd – 7th – Lacrosse residency  

June 7th - Rock Your Locks! Kids Cancer Care Assembly  

June 10th – Fun Lunch  

June 11th – Volunteer Tea (1:00 – 2:00 p.m.)  

June 12th – School Council Meeting – Gr. 5 to share Teacher Report  

June 21st – National Indigenous People’s Day  

June 25th – Grade 5 Farewell (10:00 – 11:30); Grade 6 Farewell (1:00 – 2:30) 

June 26th – Report cards are visible to parents through PowerSchool  

June 27th – Last day of school for students (11:30 dismissal) 

Art 
This week, students were eager to create some beautiful spring art to share at the volunteer tea. Students worked on using the shading technique to blend their watercolour paintings.


Math

Please review these concepts at home with your child. You could make a calendar/timeline and have your child include important dates and celebrations.

*I can look at a variety of features that enhance messages.

A Bear Grows Up 

When a bear is a baby it weigh about 4to8 pounds when it`s den. When a baby bear is half its age it goes to its mom and licks the paw of the  moms paw. Baby bears are awoken by the winter snow in the morning and the afternoon. Baby bears are the size of a sugar bottle.Mom bears chase of preys that try to eat the cubs. -Breton


Hungry As A Wolf.

When wolves are hunting there are ferocious. If when wolves are chaseing there prey and

The prey fights back a wolf will give up and find easter prey. Prey is a animal that is hunted

by a nother animal for food. The hol wolf pack eats the same prey that was cot. Wolves can

hunt at any time of day but there favoirit is dawn and dusk they can also hunt at night.

Body Of A Lion

Cats can be very intresting.Cats also have very good 

hering!They walk very cerfully and gracefully.ther tials help them

walk .when they need a bath they lick ther self!

Lions mosley sleep.Male lions have long tails

and big manes.Females do not have eney manes Females 

weigh smaller then a male!Lions wahg 300 pounds
