Thank You
As our February month of kindness drew to an end, students reflected on how fortunate they were to have so many wonderful opportunities and experiences at Andrew Sibbald School.
School Support: It takes many wonderful support staff to keep Andrew Sibbald School and our Grade 2 friends living their best lives! We are so lucky to have Mrs. O, Mrs. Shannon, Mrs. David, Mrs. Norman, Mrs. M, Mrs. Dupuis, and Mrs. Machnee support our students in a variety of areas.
Parent Support: Grade 2 students are also very fortunate to have an active volunteer pool. Thank you! We see and appreciate all you do for us. Thank you also to the parents who aren't directly in our classroom and support fun lunch and snack initiatives. We are always happy to enjoy a tasty treat!
Grade 5 Buddies: Grade 2 students look up to their Grade 5 buddies. Grade 5 students are a wealth of information and leadership! Thank you for all of your great efforts.
Student Voice: Grade 5 & 6 students you do a wonderful job of coming up with great initiatives at our school. We are so proud of the bake sale you organized and the funds you raised for mental health. Together we are better.

Wow! Our incredible buddies had a fun art task for us to engage in! The fabulous Claire and Syndey (representing Student Voice) organized slides to explain why we were creating felting squares symbolizing kindness. Claire and Sydney presented to both Grade 5 and Grade 2 classrooms at the same time. Way to go leaders! Grade 2 students drew and coloured hearts and Grade 5 students supported their younger buddies in using felting techniques safely to create a kindness quilt square. We are very excited to see the completed quilt!
